Football Accumulator Tips for a busy Tuesday night of action from across the divisions. We've picked out a 5-fold which pays 18/1 with William Hill

We've used William Hill for Saturday's 5-fold as they offer Acca5 Insurance on all sports. If one selection lets us down, we'll get our money back with William Hill.

Football Accumulator Tips

Leicester v Sunderland – Leicester Win

We begin our accumulator tips with a short priced selection from the Premier League. Leicester have been revitalised since the sacking of Claudio Ranieri and Craig Shakespeare has seen his side squeeze through to the Champions League Quarter Final and almost book another season in the Premier League. They face a Sunderland side who are going the opposite way. The Black Cats were woeful at the weekend and had Jordan Pickford to thank for keeping the score down. The goalkeeper is unlikely to stay in the North East when Sunderland inevitably get relegated but there is little else to cheer on Wearside. David Moyes is embroiled in slapping scandal (at the time of writing) and all is not well. Leicester should pick up another three points here after beating Stoke at the weekend. Also, look out for a goal between 45th and 60th minute (they have netted between those minutes in every match under Craig Shakespeare)

Preston v Bristol City – Preston to score over 1.5 team goals

Lee Johnson was forced to aplogise for Bristol City's first half performance at the weekend against Brentford. Some Robins' fans believe they have a side capable of being midtable but are being held back by their managers naivety and lack of tactical awareness. They did get wins against Wigan and Huddersfield (the latter at home against a side who have got the jitters and the former against a side useless at home) but they haven't been good enough away from home. They did pick up points at Derby and Newcastle but conceded 3 & 2 in those games hence why I'm backing Preston to score over 1.5 goals. Preston have scored 2-1-4-2-2-3-1 in their last 7 home matches and should be good to grab a couple of goals here. Tom Barkhuizen didn't score at the weekend but has been flying and will get chances here. Simon Grayson's side have an outside chance of making the play-offs so they won't be downing tools just yet!

Wolves v Nottingham Forest – Wolves to score over 1.5 team goals

Same division and same bet for this third accumulator tip. Wolves have hit form under Paul Lambert the former Norwich man looks to have overcome the wobble and is set to guide his side away from any kind of relegation trouble. They've started scoring goals with the likes of Helder Costa and Ivan Cavaleiro pulling the strings. Ben Marshall has also been impressive since arriving. They hit three past Cardiff (usually tough to beat) and and scored three away at Fulham and twice away at Brentford. Another victory here could potentially move them comfortably into 14th and almost ensure Championship football for another season. Forest have improved since Mark Warburton took over but their defence is still not to be trusted. They don't keep many clean sheets on the road the hosts are creating plenty of chances.

York v Bromley – York Win

As much as I've tried to disembark I just cannot get off the York bandwagon at the moment. Backing them has proved fruitful in 2017 since Gary Mills took over and they are one of the shortest prices in a long while when they host Bromley in midweek. The Minstermen ran out 3-0 victors at the weekend and will be full of confidence ahead of this one. They've won five home matches in a row in all competitions and three consecutive games in the National League. They are scoring plenty of goals too ranging from long range efforts to scrambled efforts and big Jon Parkin is giving the opposition plenty of think about. Bromley are struggling and there is a small possibility they could still be dragged into the relegation mess. A win here would move York within four points of them. Bromley haven't scored away from home since the 21st of February and have lost each of their last three games on their travels 1-0. Their last victory on the road came against Macclesfield (more on them shortly…) on the 17th of December.

Southport v Macclesfield – Macclesfield Win

Macclesfield are a curious case. A side who are much better on the road are a rarity but the Silkmen are always worth backing on their travels. They've won five of their last seven on the road including victories at Boreham Wood, Eastleigh and Chester. They've hit 7 in their last two away matches and will be full of confidence against a seriously struggling Southport side. The Merseyside outfit can pretty much wave goodbye to the 5th tier with a defeat here as they sit rooted to the foot of the table. They've lost 5 of the last 6 here at home and with Macc such good travellers making the short trip full of confidence it will tough for the hosts.
