Both Teams to Score Accumulator Tips

Ipswich v Wigan – BTTS

Ipswich were one of the teams who landed the BTTS at the weekend after a wonder goal cancelled out a Jonathon Grounds opener for Birmingham. Mick McCarthy seemed happy with a point and they are back at Portman Road in midweek. Three of their last four home matches have ended 1-1 and there's nothing to suggest this won't follow suit! Wigan are scrapping for their lives and Ipswich have kept just one clean sheet here since the end of November. The Latics scored at Newcastle and had several chances to grab another. They are better on the road this season and have scored 8 goals in 7 matches away from home and Ipswich's defence cannot be trusted.

Barnsley v Cardiff – BTTS

Certain sides play out a goal-fest earlier in the season with the reverse fixture often failing to live up to expectation. This could be one of those. Although I still believe both sides will find the net. Barnsley will be buoyed by a last gasp equaliser against Sheffield Wednesday (and probably could have won it…) whilst Cardiff always have a goal in them and have Kenneth Zohore in-form. The Tykes have drawn their last three home games 1-1 and their defence has managed just one clean sheet at Oakwell since Boxing Day. Cardiff are generally better on the road although did lost 3-1 at a resurgent Wolves side at the weekend. BTTS has landed in each of the Bluebird's last five matches and in their last four away games.

Rochdale v Port Vale – BTTS

Rochdale weren't quite as open at the weekend as they could only draw 1-1 with Northampton. They were probably hindered by the fact the Cobblers have tightened up and aren't making many defensive errors. Keith Hill's side still have plenty of goals in them though and needed Nathaniel Mendez Laing's beauty to break the deadlock on Saturday. They host Port Vale who are scrapping for points at the bottom of the table and Michael Brown has helped his side find their stride. Chris Eagles has been leading the charge and helped them to three points at the weekend. They are very open on the road and five of their last six away games have ended with BTTS. The only exception being a trip to the Den (Where few sides score)

Southend v Bolton – BTTS

Southend needed Ryan Leonard's dismissal on Saturday sparked Southend to attack and find three goals against Oldham. It was a vital three points in the hunt for the Play-Offs and they are back at Roots Hall in midweek. That victory was their first clean sheet here since a same-scoreline win over AFC Wimbledon on Boxing Day. They tend to ship goals here especially to sides at the top of the table (4 – Sheffield U & 1 – Scunthorpe). Bolton were disappointed by the 0-0 draw with Chesterfield as they struggled to break down a stubborn Spirerites side. The Macron Stadium got a bit nervy at times and it will help that they are away from an expectant crowd. They have netted against bigger sides on the road this season (with the exception of Sheffield United) and have only kept two sheets since the middle of December – both against sides in the bottom five.
