Football Accumulator Tips

Chesterfield v Rochdale – Over 2.5 Goals

Our accumulator tips begin in League One with a trip to the Proact. Chesterfield have found their scoring touch recently and they needed to! They are worrying close to slipping into League Two and Gary Caldwell's men can't afford to drop any points. Unfortunately they face a difficult task against a resurgent and free-scoring Rochdale side. Keith Hill's men hit three goals against a usually resolute Millwall backline. They also conceded three and there have been 24 goals in their last 5 matches! Chesterfield have seen their last two matches feature three or more goals including a 3-3 draw with Peterborough just 10 days ago.

Bury v Fleetwood – Fleetwood Draw No Bet

Since conceding 4 to Bolton, Fleetwood have bounced back with successive clean sheets. They saw off Walsall at the Bescott (Never easy) before being held to a goalless draw by AFC Wimbledon (a Wimbledon side who were buoyed by beating MK Dons). Bury have been inconsistent this season and they are still battling relegation but Lee Clark has improved the Shakers. They've won three of their last five games here which could be considered a concern, but I'm confident Fleetwood can get something. Bury beat Bristol Rovers who played 55 minutes with ten men and they've seen off bottom club Coventry and fellow strugglers Swindon, this will be much tougher. Fleetwood have won four of their last five away matches.

Accrington v Grimsby – Accrington Win

Accrington have been hugely impressive recently and are the in-form side in the division. John Coleman's side beat Morecambe in midweek with another couple of goals from Shay McCartan. Accy have moved up to 14th in the table and are unbeaten since the start of February. They have clicked and steered themselves away from relegation. They have talent in their side and they have been scoring goals from all over the pitch. Grimsby have been a mixed bag this season and have booked another season in League Two. They were hammered 4-0 by Portsmouth in their last away trip and drew 1-1 with Crawley last weekend. On the road, they've won just one of six which came against rock bottom Leyton Orient.

Blackpool v Hartlepool – Blackpool Win

Another in-form side in League Two are Blackpool. The Seasiders have found their feet at the right time and are chasing down Exeter for their final play-off spot. Gary Bowyer's side have recently beaten Stevenage (in-form side) here and will be confident of getting the better of Dave Jones' side. They have Mark Cullen, Bright Samuel and Brad Potts (if he returns from injury) in excellent form and have been scoring plenty of goals. They've hit three goals in 3 of their last 5 matches and have picked up 13 points from a possible 15. They should have beaten Wycombe, but missed a penalty, hit the bar and had one cleared off the line. Hartlepool lost limply to Wycombe last week after securing a rare away win and haven't been great on their travels all campaign. Still plagued by inconsistencies, they are likely to struggle at Bloomfield Road.

Cambridge v Stevenage – Stevenage Draw No Bet

Stevenage 3-0 Portsmouth was a very notable result considering Pompey's recent form. It laid down a marker to the sides around them as Darren Sarll's men put in another terrific performance. They've had one small slip-up in their recent run which came against in-form Blackpool (see above), but they bounced back and showed that their bubble hasn't burst! Stevenage sit 4th and are bearing down on the automatic promotion spots. They have won three of their last five away matches and should get the better of an inconsistent Cambridge side. Shaun Derry's side have put in some mixed performances recently and losing 1-0 here to Hartlepool was one of the poorest. They did bounce back with victory at Cheltenham, but they might find it difficult against a confident Stevenage.
