Football Accumulator Tips

Northampton v Port Vale – Northampton Over 1.5 Team Goals

I'm a little reluctant to back against Port Vale as they have shown some spirit in recent week and have secured four points from their last six matches, but their defence still remains a problem. Northampton are improving under Justin Edinburgh and did keep a rare clean sheet away at Wimbledon at the weekend. They have goals in the side and have hit 3-3-2-1-2 in their last 5 home matches. Port Vale did beat Swindon at the weekend, but still managed to conceded twice in the process and that could struggle with a confident Cobblers side.

Bury v Bristol Rovers – Bristol Rovers Draw No Bet

A short price selection for our second accumulator tip as Bristol Rovers should win this with a one goal head start. Darrell Clarke's men are hard to beat and haven't lost since the 21st of January. They have drawn far too many games, particularly on the road but did pick up three points at the Kassam recently. They've won back to back matches without conceding and look strong coming into this. The Lee Clark effect didn't last too long at Bury and they've now picked up just 1 point from their last 2 games. There is still work to do and they must secure as many points as they can, but Bristol Rovers are playing well and won't go down without a fight.

Cambridge v Hartlepool – Cambridge Over 1.5 Teams Goals

Shaun Derry's Cambridge have rediscovered their confidence in recent weeks. After a disastrous run which saw them lose four of five matches and fail to score in those four contests, they appear to be back on track and the 3-0 victory over Carlisle will help boost their confidence enormously. They've now scored at leats 2 goals in three of their last five matches and in two of their last three games at the Abbey. They host Hartlepool who haven't travelled well for quite some time. Dave Jones' men can be difficult to beat at Victoria Park (or whatever it's called these days!), but have now conceded at least two goals in each of their last five away games most recently losing at Notts County (2-1)

Carlisle v Luton – Carlisle Draw No Bet

Carlisle have hit the skids. It's the league that no side wants to win and Carlisle are making their case to avoid promotion convincingly. They've now lost four consecutive matches and failed to score in each of them. Keith Curle has called for unity, but this is a difficult assignment and there will be plenty of nerves amongst the supporters. Luton lost on Saturday to in-form Stevenage, but Nathan Jones' side have travelled well this season and won away at Yeovil recently (0-4) and haven't been defeated on the road since the 2nd of January when they suffered a narrow reverse at Fratton Park.

Accrington v Leyton Orient – Accrington Over 1.5 Teams Goals

Accrington are ending the season with a flourish. John Coleman's men collected three points against Exeter at the weekend and kept a second consecutive clean sheet in the process. They looked decent going forward and probably could have added to their two goals. Accy are back at the Wham Stadium hosting struggling Leyton Orient. The O's are better on the road, but even with victory at Plymouth they still conceded twice in that match and could be suceptible here.
