Football Accumulator Tips for Saturday 5th March. It's been a good week with our Tuesday night accumulator landing at 15/1 and last Saturday's accumulator coming in at reduced odds (Still 10/1!). We're looking to make it three winners in a row!

We've used William Hill for Saturday's 5-fold as they offer Acca5 Insurance on all sports. If one selection lets us down, we'll get our money back with William Hill.

Football Accumulator Tips

Shrewsbury v Coventry – Shrewsbury Win

Shrewsbury have been excellent in recent weeks and are particularly effective at the New Meadow. Paul Hurst has his side entertaining in front of their own fans and they welcome rock bottom Coventry to Shropshire on Saturday afternoon. The Shrews are looking for a 6th consecutive home win and have scored 8 time in their last three matches here. Coventry are struggling and have picked up just a couple points on the road since Christmas and Russell Slade has a huge job on his hands. They lost away at Bury in midweek and look unlikely to bounce back against a side who hit four past Charlton on Tuesday.

Southend v Port Vale – Southend win

A nice short priced selection for our second accumulator tip as we head to Roots Hall. Neither of these sides played in midweek and will be well-rested for this contest. Southend are chasing the play-offs and have lost just once at home since August. That defeat came against leaders Sheffield United. Phil Brown's side lost at Gillingham last weekend but were a man down and probably should have taken something from it. They've recently beaten Scunthope and Rochdale at Roots Hall and Port Vale don't appear to be in the kind of form to nick all three points here. Michael Brown's side appear to be sleepwalking towards relegation and club hasn't invested well this season. They are still awaiting their first win in 2017 and have lost two of the last three matches on the road.

Swindon v Chesterfield – Swindon win

Swindon are another side who helped us land Tuesday's accumulator and they should be opposed once again here. The Robins have found a bit of form and are scoring goals. Connor Ripley's heroics kept them at bay a few weeks back, but they have since netted six goals in their last two games. With the likes of Ben Gladwin, Rohan Ince, Charlie Colkett, Jonathon Obika and Nicky Ajose all at the club and playing well, there are bound to be goals. Chesterfield are struggling and Gary Caldwell is yet to taste victory as Spirerites manager. They have scored just three goals since the 17th of December and it isn't looking good for the visitors. They were beaten 4-0 at home to Oxford last time out and should find Swindon a handful.

Scunthorpe v Fleetwood – Fleetwood Win or Draw (Double Chance)

Scunthorpe have gone off the boil in recent weeks and are now without a victory since the end of January when they narrowly squeezed past Port Vale. Since then they've drawn three and lost three. Graham Alexander will be determined to get back on track and continue their faltering promotion campaign. It was a poor defeat at home to AFC Wimbledon in midweek and confidence isn't high. They face Fleetwood who are level on points with them at the moment. The Cod Army are playing tremendously under Uwe Rosler and haven't lost in 17 matches. The common theme is Port Vale as Fleetwood's last defeat arrived at Vale Park on the 17th of Novemer. It's an impressive run and it's hard to see them slipping up against an out-of-form hosts.

Blackpool v Morecambe – Morecambe Win or Draw (Double Chance)

Morecambe have been on an excellent run of form since the turn of the year and they look set to continue it at Bloomfield Road. Most notably they came from a goal down to draw 1-1 with an impressive Portsmouth outfit. 30th of December was the last time they lost on the road and they almost secured a point from that defeat at Victoria Park. Blackpool are struggling at Bloomfield Road – perhaps it's the atmopshere (or lack of), but they haven't won at home since the 26th of November. They've won just three times since the start of December and they've all come away from home. Gary Bowyer's side are just walking towards a non-descript mid-table finish. Morecambe have been defeated just once in 11.
