Both Teams to Score Accumulator Tips

Preston v QPR – BTTS

Preston are very hard to beat at home and they tend to score goals at Deepdale. The Lilywhites have only failed to score in three matches since November and they've all been away from home. They've recently scored twice against Birmingham, once against Ipswich and four times against Brentford. QPR have improved under Ian Holloway recently and some of the January additions are helping. They recently hit four past Birmingham on the road before beating Wigan 2-1 in midweek. They've only kept one clean sheet since the 18th of October.

Sheffield United v Bolton – BTTS

It's another titanic battle at the top of the table as Sheffield United host Bolton on Saturday. Fresh from drawing with Scunthorpe, the blades will aim to extend their advantage at the top of the table. Bolton cam from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Bradford last week and they've now conceded 6 goals in their last 4 away games. The stats show that they're averaging less than a goal a game conceded on the road, but that average is slowly creeping up and they surely won't keep their first clean sheet on the road since November against the rampant Blades. Sheffield United have kept a fair few clean sheets here this season, but they've been against teams in mid-table or below – AFC Wimbledon, Bury and Oldham to name a few.

Mansfield v Newport – BTTS

Our third accumulator selection takes us to League Two. Mansfield have been on a great run of form and kept a number of clean sheets under new manager Steve Evans before rising to the brink of the play-offs. It's slightly unravelled recently with a couple of dreadful defensive performances. They drew 4-4 last time out here with Accrington. That was followed by an abysmal 3-0 defeat to Grimsby in which Harry White and his boss were both sent off. Newport are bottom, but they aren't easy to beat. They scored twice against Cambridge but ended up losing 3-2 and away from Rodney Parade (on better pitches!) they can get the ball down and play football. BTTS has landed in 56% of their away games including 5 of the last 6.

Luton v Plymouth

These two sides have been plagued by inconsistencies this season but they've been fairly reliable when it comes to goals. Luton have only kept three clean sheets at Kennilworth Road all season – against Accrington (bad early season form), Cambridge (desperately out of form at the time) and Hartlepool (Don't travel well). They have plenty of firepower and with Danny Hylton in the side, there's always a threat. They've already scored against many of their promotion rivals such as Doncaster, Carlisle and Portsmouth. Plymouth have netted in all but one away game since November and have plenty of firepower. They won 2-1 here last season and desperately need to bounce back after dropping points against Hartlepool last weekend.
