Football Accumulator Tips:
Sheffield Wednesday v Brentford – Sheffield Wednesday win
The Owls have been excellent recently and are chalking up an unbeaten run under Carlos Carvalhal. They won at the weekend but needed a little luck away at Nottingham Forest. At home they've beaten Birmingham, Huddersfield and Blackburn recently and should get the better of the Bees. Brentford have been hard to call this season but they have lost the last four away games in all competitions. Dean Smith's side have talent but their defence has been poor recently and Wednesday have firepower in abundance.
QPR v Wigan – Wigan +1 Handicap
QPR hit Birmingham for four at the weekend but they don't tend to build upon positive results. They haven't won back to back league games since March 2016 and haven't been good at home recently slipping to defeats against Burton and Huddersfield. Ian Holloway's side are extremely inconsistent and they are facing a rejuvinated Wigan side. The Latics won 1-0 at Molineux recently before holding Preston to a goalless draw at the DW. They've only lost three times in the last nine games and all by a single goal. Those defeats have all been against sides inside the top eight. QPR are 16th.
Millwall v Chesterfield – Millwall win
A short priced selection for our accumulator with FA Cup heroes Millwall. They are back to the bread and butter of the league here but Neil Harris will have them focusing on a play-off quest rather than dreaming of their quarter final date with Spurs. They've been excellent here recently and haven't conceded a goal at the Den in 2017. They've won four of the last five and have shipped just a single goal in five outings. Chesterfield haven't won under new manager Gary Caldwell and have the worst away form in the league. They lost their relegation six pointer with Bury at the weekend and Tom Anderson is suspended for this.
Peterborough v Southend – Southend Draw No Bet
Peterborough were beaten late on by Walsall on Saturday as Posh's inconsistent season continues to hold their play-off ambitions back. They will be without Chris Forrester for this. Southend drew 2-2 with improving Northampton and continue their fine run of form. Phil Brown's side are extremely hard to beat and have only lost once twice in the league since the start of October (To Millwall & Sheffield United). Away from home they recently beat Oxford and picked up a very handy draw at in-form Fleetwood. They should have enough to take something from this.
Strasbourg v Tours – Strasbourg win
This is a 5:30 kick off so make sure you place your accumulator tips nice and early on Tuesday. We're off to Ligue 2 for our final selection as Strasbourg host struggling Tours. Since being promoted Strasbourg have been excellent and their home form is particularly impressive. They've won each of their last five matches here and conceded just 11 goals in 12 home matches. Those victories include a win over 4th place Lens and 9th place Niort. Tours lost 3-2 on Friday night at Bourg-Perronas and continued their winless streak. They are yet to win in 2017 and are at the foot of the table.
