Both Teams to Score Accumulator Tips
Aston Villa v Ipswich – BTTS
Aston Villa are struggling for clean sheets and Steve Bruce hasn't been happy with his sides performances lately. They looked like they'd done enough to secure a point against improving Forest side but leaked a last gasp strike and dropped yet more points. They haven't kept a clean sheet in any of their last five matches in the Championship conceded 9 goals in the process. They've hit 21 of their 29 goals at home and with the addition of Connor Hourihane, it should give them more bite going forward from midfield. Ipswich have their secret weapon Tom Lawrence (although he's not so secret anymore) and he will likely cause problems for Villa here. Ipswich are far from prolific but whilst Lawrence is around there's always a chance of a goal or two.
AFC Wimbledon v Charlton – BTTS
AFC Wimbledon cannot buy a goal away from home and were battered 4-0 by Sheffield United last weekend but at Kingsmeadow they are much improved. They've won two of their last three league games here and have scored 8 in the process. Recent scorelines here include 2-2, 5-1 and 2-1. They welcome Karl Robinson's Charlton to West London who make the short trip over. 64% of Charlton's away games have landed BTTS and this could be another one for the list. They've scored in each of their last five away matches in all competitions with four of those ending in BTTS.
Scunthorpe v Shrewsbury – BTTS
Scunthorpe are still challenging for the promotion spots and they are back at Glanford Park on Saturday where they are often strongest this season. Graham Alexander's side have won three of their last four league games here but regularly fail to keep clean sheets. They hit three against Port Vale and the same against Bury plus there was a 1-1 draw with Peterborough. Shrewsbury usually score on the road and are much improved under Paul Hurst. There are still worries about relegation and they'll be fighting here. They've netted in each of their last six games on the road in all competitions.
Colchester v Barnet – BTTS
BTTS has landed in three of Colchester's last four matches and there's every chance we could see the same outcome here. They've recently beaten Carlisle 4-1 and drew 1-1 with Blackpool last weekend. Their defence isn't as strong as a month ago and they've started conceding a few sloppy goals. Barnet love a BTTS on the road with each of their last four going that way and a 71% record away from home. This should be an entertaining affair and it could be the 4th consecutive meeting between these sides to land BTTS.
