Football Accumulator Tips 2nd Jan
West Brom vs Hull Betting Tip
Hull have not won a Premier League fixture since beating Southampton 2-1 at the KCOM Stadium during early November and have lost their previous seven league games on the road without scoring a goal in the latest five away matches. West Brom overcame a 1-0 deficit to win 2-1 at St Mary’s Stadium on Saturday, but lost three difficult fixtures during December when beaten by Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal. Yet they claimed three home successive victories at the Hawthorns prior to a 2-0 defeat by Manchester United, and another home win for the Baggies is predicted.
West Brom to beat Hull.
Norwich vs Derby Betting Tip
Norwich ended a five-match losing sequence by earning a 0-0 draw at Brentford on Saturday, but they have produced better recent displays at Carrow Road where they won two successive matches prior to a 2-1 defeat by Huddersfield when the visitors could have scored more than their two first half goals. Derby will begin this game aiming to extend a ten-match unbeaten sequence, but they have netted just once in their two latest matches including a 0-0 stalemate with lowly Wigan. A low-scoring draw is forecasted.
Norwich to draw with Derby.
Wigan vs Huddersfield Betting Tip
Wigan earned a creditable point at Derby on Saturday when denying the hosts in a 0-0 stalemate but they have failed to find the net in six of their nine previous games and have lost five successive matches at the DW Stadium. Visitors Huddersfield needed a very late Nahki Wells equaliser to claim a 1-1 home draw with Blackburn on Saturday but they had won their four prior contests. The Terriers have netted in every game since the beginning of November and despite Wigan recently beating Huddersfield 2-1 in the reverse fixture, an away victory is forecasted.
Huddersfield to beat Wigan.
Scunthorpe vs Peterborough Betting Tip
Although Scunthorpe are unbeaten on home soil this season, they have won just one of their latest five League One matches and suffered defeats at Bolton and Rochdale last month. The Irons did claim a 2-1 victory at Peterborough during late November but the Posh are unbeaten in league action since that game and have won three consecutive matches on their travels including a 2-0 victory at Charlton. Peterborough are tipped to claim a point at Glandford Park.
Scunthorpe to draw with Peterborough.
Wycombe vs Newport Betting Tip
Newport will enter this game having lost their latest six League Two fixtures with the concession of seventeen goals in those matches. A 4-1 home defeat on Saturday when playing Exeter was of particular concern with three goals conceded inside eight minutes during the second half. Wycombe are the hosts of this contest and they are perhaps the in-form team in this division with 22 points earned from 24 available which includes a 3-3 draw at leaders Plymouth. A home win is expected.
Wycombe to beat Newport.
